-Alaska Airlines is practically a monopoly at the small airport, so they're able to hike up prices, sometimes double what they would be out of Seattle-Tacoma.
-Boeing, arguably the manufacturer of the most unsafe planes, operates and tests their planes on the same runways used at Paine Field.
-No long-haul domestic flights or international flights
